Pressley, Pressley and More Pressley!

For those of you who we do not see us very often, we have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to our daughter, Pressley. What a handful she has become! We can hardly believe she's 8 months old already!

Around the 6-7 month mark she began saying "Da Da" (and of course, she is yet to say "Ma Ma"). She is now standing on her own (with the assistance of the ottoman in our living room), attemtping to crawl and she loves to clap! Any time she can be near water (bath tub, pool, etc.) she is a happy girl! She is also completely enamored by our dog, Louis. She loves to tug on his tail, ears and face! Needless to say, Lou is not a fan.

She has conquered the "bear crawl" and loves to stick her dairy air up as high as it will go and attempt to move forward. Somehow she manages to make this work if she wants to reach something bad enough (usually one of Lou's disgusting chew toys). She has finally reached the "cant' sit still" stage and it's wearing Travis and I out! She's quite the little monkey!

Over the past week she has become quite fussy due to her teething. The content baby girl that we once knew is no longer. We are expecting a couple of little white teeth to appear any day now! We will be happy when this phase passes!

In the overall scheme of things, she's a joy to be around. Sure the teething takes a toll, but she's worth every single moment of stress!
