Some of you may or may not know that a couple of months ago I made the life-altering decision to leave “The Face” (that’s Facebook for all of you non-addicts). Turns out, it’s not really that life-altering. In fact, it’s actually quite wonderful not being a slave to the world of social media. I have found countless things to do with all of my free, non-Facebooking time. In no particular order those activities include:
*Running/exercising (I can hear the gasps of shock from here). It’s true. My friend Sarah and I started running and Pressley and I walk the neighborhood a few times a week. So far, so good.
*Trying TONS of new recipes (thank you Pinterest). I’ve decided that I should have gone to culinary school.
* Pressley and I are mastering her backward rolls and back pullovers. Gold medalist in the training + future hall of fame tumbling coach=awesomeness.
*I even started (brace yourself) getting more work done while at work. Novel idea, eh? :) I’ve decided I need a raise!
Don’t get me wrong, I definitely have my moments of weakness when I want to go crawling back but I’ve stayed strong and am really enjoying my Facebook-Free life.
(Side note: Travis could not be more proud considering he calls FB “The Devils Playground)
Moving on…
Since I’m not on FB anymore, posting/sharing pictures with family and friends has obviously ceased. This actually gives me a good excuse to FINALLY start updating this blog again!
So without further ado, here we go…

Pressley completed her first year as an Indiana Elite Tiny Terrier cheerleader! The beginning of the season was a little shaky for her but she has really come out of her shell and is looking forward to her 2nd season...which starts again in May! We also had her in tumbling lessons throughout the season and she has really improved! She was always the tiniest in every class she was in so keeping up with the big girls was sometimes a challenge for her but she hung in there! This little girl has definitely found her calling. Go Dawgs!
Pressley's pre-school teacher (Ms. Hannah) is SUPER pregnant and is expecting a baby in late spring. The kids (and myself with the help of my amazing friend Whitney) threw a surprise baby shower for her last Wednesday! She was so surprised and received a TON of gifts!
Pressley officially knows how to tie her own shoes! Score!
We have been living in our new house for almost six whole months! If you haven't come to visit yet, please do!
That's all I have for now. Enjoy the pics!
Pressley and Taylor @ The Dawg Show (student helper for her cheer squad)
Pressley and her 2nd (adopted) Papaw Doug @ The Dawg Show

Pressley and Miley @ The Dawg Show

The ENTIRE Indiana Elite program (minus a few I'm sure)

Sami and Punky (Sami is a senior at Indiana Elite and Pressley is obsessed with her! She has also become our go-to babysitter AND she's going to Kentucky University in the fall! We are going to miss her!

Pressley (far right) and some of the other Tiny Terriers @ LIVE! They wore their boas and sunglasses at this competition because they always have a red carpet theme! This was a fun one!

After competing at LIVE! The Tiny Terriers received their trophy (very big deal by the way) and of course Pressley had to pop that leg and pose for the picture. **I'm in trouble**

Some of the Tiny Terriers on the red carpet after their performance @ LIVE!

Jessa, Pressley and Emmersen on the red carpet @ LIVE!

Ms. Hannah's baby shower!

Punky holding Baby Harrison! "Harry" was borned seven weeks early! He's home and doing awesome! P.S. I do not let my child wear lipstick/mascara on a regular basis. We came straight from a cheer comp.

Indiana Elite end-of-year banquet. Pressley receiving her award (They gave her the "Itty Bitty Award") and hugging her coaches: Miss Emily, Miss Tia and Miss Jackie
Pressley and Addison Eicher at the cheer banquet. Press and Addi also go to pre-k together so they see a LOT of one another! I forsee them being friends for a very long time :)
