After the race, my cousin Amber and I took our kiddos to Conner Prairie for Joey's 4th birthday! They had fun but the mommies were tired from running around in all that mud! Happy Birthday Joe Joe!
And last weekend I was lucky enough to sneak away for a night and headed to Chicago to visit with some old friends, Jenn Fix, Tony B. and Brad Chandler! I loved seeing all of them and hate it that I don't get to see them more! Cheers to old friends :)
If you don't already know this about my 4 1/2 year old daughter...she's turned out to be quite the performer. All this kid does is sing/dance/tumble. It's constant and never-ending but we love it. On Mothers Day morning we all woke up and were just hanging out on the couch in the living room and Pressley asked me to "put on a song" so that she could show us some of her moves. Watch the video to see some of her latest and greatest. **Pay close attention to the fact that she's wearing her princess high heels, no pants and the shirt from the day before that she slept in as well as me laughing in the background and Travis saying "OH MY GOSH."** We might be in trouble with this one...
Here we go!
